Horizon Holland Foundation
helps with:

Welcome to the Horizon Holland Foundation site! We support projects in Sri Lanka with financial resources and advice, especially in the medical and social field, education, agriculture and horticulture. We are a small-scale foundation and can move quickly and take action when needed. For larger projects, we collaborate with other organisations. For our projects, a local organisation is responsible for the project.

Below is an overview of our objectives.

Supporting organisations so that they can operate independently as much as possible

  • Support disadvantaged people in starting their own business
  • Occasional provision of emergency aid in the form of clothing and medicine, for example after a natural disaster. This was the case after severe flooding in May 2016. Naturally, the population immediately rolled up their sleeves themselves to rebuild, but had lost everything. Then all outside help is welcome.
  • See also our Projects page for an overview of our ongoing and completed projects.

The board of the Horizon Holland Foundation do not receive a salary from the foundation. All donations benefit the Sri Lankan people.
