Cathura preschool in Kirigalla

This kindergarten with 20 children and a library with 300 members (children) was built a year ago. This school is equipped with electricity, but due to the high connection costs of over € 100.00, the school is not yet connected. In addition, there is no drinking water available. In addition to the connection of the electricity, the request was also for a point piece, pump and water tank. However, there are no resources from the government to support the school in this.

However, upon further investigation, it appears that the entire village has no decent drinking water. We have therefore entered into a partnership with the Sri Lanka Underprivileged Foundation, which has a great deal of experience with large-scale water supplies. There is also a subsidy application for this at the Wilde Ganzen.
